]]>Preheat the oven to 375 degrees. Lina a grease-proof backing paper onto a backing sheet. In a bigger bowl mix the butter and the sugar, until it becomes pale, light and fluffy. Then, gradually,add the eggs and the vanilla extract. Stir in the flour until the mixture comes together as a dough. Then, roll the dough onto a lightly floured work surface to a thickness of ½ inches. Cut biscuits out of the dough by using a biscuit cutter and place then onto the backing tray. Bake them for 8-10 minutes, or until pale golden-brown.
In a larger bowl add the sugar and enough water to create a smooth mixture, then add the food coloring and give it a good mix. When decorated you biscuits, set them aside until the icing hardens.
