Perhaps no drink is quite as exquisite and elegant as a brandy crusta. Here is your guide to making this tasty cocktail that will be sure to make your house party one to remember.

Ingredients:

  • 1 1/2 ounces aged brandy
  • 1/2 ounce simple syrup
  • 1/2 ounce Cointreau
  • 1/4 ounce maraschino liqueur
  • 3/4 ounce lemon juice
  • 2 dashes Angostura Aromatic bitters
  • granulated sugar
  • orange peel twist

Instructions:

  1. Grab a cocktail glass and dip a small cloth into the lemon juice. Rub the cloth around the rim of the glass.
  2. Dip the rim of the glass into the granulated sugar.
  3. Pour the brandy, bitters, Cointreau, lemon juice, maraschino liqueur, and simple syrup into a cocktail shaker. Top off with ice and shake hard for 10 seconds.
  4. Strain into a cocktail glass and garnish with an orange peel twist before serving.
