You may be surprised, but we have the perfect spritz recipe that will transition you from summer to winter in several minutes you need to prepare it.

What’s your preferred type of shaker? Are you a Boston, French, or Cobbler kind of person? Tell me below! Most of the time, if I’m just making one drink, I love a French style 2-piece shaker. The only style of shaker I don’t use anymore is a Cobbler, and that’s because the cap got stuck two years ago and I still haven’t been able to get it off. 🤣 #homebartenderproblems This is a shot I created for @pinabarware with a couple of free-styled tequila cocktails made in their heavy duty Founder’s Tins. 🍸🍸 💛 Left: tequila blanco, grapefruit, passionfruit, lemon, basil. ❤ Right: tequila reposado, lime, Cointreau, sour cherry, vanilla. #cocktailshaker #bostonshaker #tequila #pourshot

The crucial ingredient here is Cardamaro, a vermouth-like liqueur that you will like if you like earthy flavors. Its syrupy consistency makes it perfect for cocktails and here’s the recipe for our fall favorite.

You’ll Need

  • 2 oz white wine
  • 1 oz Cardamaro
  • 2 oz ginger beer

Instructions

  1. Chill the ingredients before making the cocktail.
  2. Stir Cardamaro and wine together with some ice.
  3. Add ginger beer, stir again, and decorate with a slice of apple.

Enjoy the cold-weather spritz that will help you remember all the great things about summer, at least until the holidays come and you decide you want to switch to mulled wine!
