]]> If you’re a fan of pancakes, and let’s be honest, who isn’t, then you’re in for a treat that’s bound to make your taste buds dance with delight. Imagine a stack of fluffy, golden pancakes with a surprise twist—they’re filled with Nutella! This heavenly combination will make for a heavenly breakfast treat. 

Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Nutella (as much as your heart desires)

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. In a separate bowl, whisk buttermilk, egg, melted butter, and vanilla. Combine wet and dry mixtures, being careful not to overmix.
  2. Preheat a griddle, grease with butter or cooking spray, and pour small pancake portions onto it.
  3. Drop a Nutella dollop in the center before the pancake sets. Add more batter to cover it.
  4. Cook until bubbles form on the surface and edges crisp (2-3 mins). Flip and cook for 1-2 mins more until golden brown.
  5. Transfer to a plate, repeat with the remaining batter, and enjoy the Nutella-filled delight.
