]]> Are you in the mood for something sweet, but don’t want to spend much time making cakes, muffins, or brownies? In that case, you might think about making some date bark.

Besides being super simple and delicious, it supposedly reminds of a Snickers bar. We won’t trust it until we try it out, and you shouldn’t, as well.

How to Make Date Bark

There have been several recipes for date bark making rounds on TikTok, but the one we liked the most was shared by creator @feelgoodfoodie.

According to @feelgoodfoodie, to make a date bark, you should start by pitting two dozen dates and lining them on a parchment paper-covered baking sheet. She then takes a glass cup and smashes the dates down to make them more flat.

Once the dates are flattened, the TikToker drizzles some melted peanut butter on top before adding roughly chopped almonds. Finally, she melts dark chocolate and pours it over the dates before sprinkling everything with flaky salt.

The date bark goes into a freezer for around 30 minutes, after which it is ready to be enjoyed. You can simply bite into it right away or chop it to pieces.
