]]> In 2014, Ivy Diep found a cute stray dog on the street, took it home and named it Popeye. Little did she know that her new friend would become a true Instagram celebrity in no time!

Diep often went to Instagram dates with her friend, which consisted of the two of them trying out food in new restaurants and posting reviews on Instagram. One day, she brought Popeye with her only to realize that he’s a perfect model for her food photos. He didn’t have a problem with sitting still next to food and looked absolutely adorable.

It was then when she decided to take Popeye everywhere and include him in her hobby. Today, Popeye has over 350k followers on his Instagram account and has visited hundreds of dog-friendly restaurants. Don’t worry, he never eats inappropriate food.
