From viral hits like dalgona coffee and feta pasta to many other amazing recipes and ideas, we can say we’re hooked on trying every new trend that comes up. When it comes to frozen honey, things are somewhat different. We’re not sure that freezing honey should be as popular as it is right now, and here’s why.

The main problem is that you’ll end up eating excessive amounts of honey this way. Despite being a natural ingredient, honey is basically pure sugar. Things only get worse when you add fake color and flavors to it, like many people have been doing. Eating excessive amounts of honey over a longer time period can lead to weight gain and increase the risk of diabetes and heart disease.

We say it’s better to skip this particular trend and wait for a new one, because they come and go fast these days!
