• 1 sugar cube
• 2-3 dashes Angostura bitters

]]>The great thing about deviled eggs is that you can customize the taste using the ingredients you want. Whether you prefer them spicy, with bacon, or with vegetables, you can be sure they’ll be a success at every party. Any leftovers can easily be turned into an egg salad, so feel free to make extra!
Even though you’d probably reach for fresh eggs whenever possible, it’s actually better to use older eggs as they will peel easier. Make sure they’re not too old by placing them in water—eggs that float are bad and you should toss them.
Once you’ve chosen the eggs and cooked them, you can use them immediately or store them in the fridge for up to a week. If necessary, you can also prepare the filling a day or two upfront, but don’t put it in the egg whites until you serve them.
There are plenty of deviled egg filling recipes available online so you can choose your favorite. You can then simply peel the eggs, cut them in half, take out the yolks and mix them with other ingredients, then fill the yolk hole with the filling!
