]]> Jalapeno poppers are a classic snack or starter, especially during football season. The peppers give it a nice heat as well as providing a vehicle for the delicious cheese and whatever else you decide to put on it. However, if you have grown tired with the traditional recipe, there are so many ways to make your jalapeno poppers more unique but just as delicious. Try these recipes and see for yourself!

Bacon Wrapped

When in doubt, wrap it in bacon! Proceed how you normally would with a jalapeno pepper by slicing in half lengthwise and taking out the seeds. If you want it a little spicer, leave some seeds in the pepper. Put a small tab of cream cheese in the center and spread it out. Then, wrap a piece of bacon around the jalapeno so it completely covers the cream cheese. Bake for 30 minutes until the bacon is crispy and enjoy!

Pimento Cheese

If you feel like plain cream cheese can do better things than be in a jalapeno popper, switch it up to pimento cheese! This cheese spread is classically southern and comes together with cream cheese, shredded cheddar, mayo, and pimiento peppers. You can then also wrap it in bacon or dredge and deep fry.
