Frozen yogurt powered by robots? It might seem like the punchline to a weird joke, but believe it or not, it’s real and could be coming to a shopping center or sports arena near you.

Reis & Irvy’s is an up-and-coming frozen yogurt company that offers up their product with no human contact between production and serving. That’s right, this fro yo company has machines powered by robots that make your sweet and cool treat for you.

So, how does it work? Reis & Irvy’s has begun installing their kiosks in locations throughout the United States, and customers have seen how robots can put together a frozen yogurt dessert. It simply involves pressing a few buttons on a touch screen, a team of robots on the inside of a machine, and voila! Your frozen yogurt is served.

You actually don’t see your product being prepared, but the possibilities are endless. Reis & Irvy’s machines all stock 6 flavors of frozen yogurt and a variety of toppings, such as chocolate candies and fruits. Humans might not make your product, but it’s fully customizable nonetheless.

So, don’t be surprised if you walk by a touch-screen operated frozen yogurt machine powered by robots in the near future! It might seem strange at first, but if you give it a try, your tastebuds will thank you.

As machines become more and more complex, automation is beginning to take over the world. From self-driving cars to inventions like Alexa and Siri, artificial intelligence now helps us in ways that most of us probably could’ve never envisioned.

Believe it or not, this technological revolution is beginning to extend to the world of food. All you need to see as proof of this phenomenon is Creator, a hamburger restaurant in San Francisco, in which the food is prepared by a fully automatic machine.

Instead of heading up to a counter, giving your order to a human being, and waiting for a team of people in a kitchen to prepare your food, at Creator, humans aren’t part of the process.

Instead, after placing your order to the hamburger machine, it miraculously whips up your burger without any human intervention.

While some might be a little weirded out by this kind of technological advance, it’s hard to argue with the price tag. You can get a burger for around $6 at Creator, which is unbelievably cheap in an expensive city such as San Francisco.

Those who have visited Creator have raved about both the price and the quality of the burgers, which have been designed by some of San Francisco’s most trendy chefs.

Would you give this futuristic restaurant a shot?
