Here’s another neat trick that allows you to easily peel garlic without getting your hands sticky. Simply put the garlic cloves in the microwave for 30 seconds on high heat, and then when you peel them the skin will just fall off!
Pierce the potato several times and then microwave on high heat for 12 minutes, turning the potato halfway through. When you see that it’s cooked in the middle, the potato is ready to eat.
You can poach, scramble, and fry eggs in the microwave. For the easiest results, simply break one or two eggs into a microwaveable bowl, season with salt and pepper, and pierce the yolks. Then cook for 40 seconds on high, or until set. Serve just before they look ready.
Place your herbs between two paper towels and microwave on high for two to three minutes. They’ll easily crumble together, and allow you to place them on various dinner dishes such as salmon or chicken.
