What is an Instant Pot? Have you heard of these amazing multi-cooking appliances? They combine the most advanced food technology and this pot can just about make your breakfast for you. Well, actually it can.

Cook steel cut oats in minutes (about 15) on a high heat for 4 and then an extended pressure release for 10. What about French toast? It’s a real treat for the weekend, right? But, what if you could whip up a baked batch in minutes?

Add cubes of bread, and an egg custard mixture to your Instant pot. While the French toast bake is cooking, make your coffee and get the kid around the table.

Cut up assorted fruit or fry up some bacon, and serve with maple syrup, fresh berries – or turn into dessert, and serve with ice-cream and a berry coulis.

Add chopped bacon to the French toast bake too, if you prefer savory. If you have time, pop it under the grill to brown up, before serving, but with flavors that delish, your family will want to tuck in.
