2/3 pound crab meat lump or claw

1 1/2 tablespoons parsley
1/4 cup minced onion
8 oz 1 stick butter
2 teaspoons paprika
4 1/2 cup milk
1 teaspoon sugar
1/4 cup cooking white wine
Begin by melting 6 oz butter and cook the onion, celery, garlic together until they become soft. You can add in the flour, mix the ingredients for a few minutes.
Start adding the milk, then the half and half, and finish off with the seafood stock. You should be mixing the soup all the time while you’re pouring the liquids. When the soup becomes thick, you can lower the heat.
Saute the scallops and shrimp together using 2 oz of butter. This should take 4 to 5 minutes. When they are done, add them to the liquid mixture. Include the white wine, sugar, crab meat, and paprika. Let the seafood chowder simmer for 5 minutes. Wait for 10 minutes before you serve it.
