That delicious seafood chowder you love from the local restaurant can make its way to your kitchen table. All you need to do is gather all the ingredients below and reserve 45 minutes of your time.

Ingredients

The ingredients you need are:
2 cups seafood stock
2/3 pound chopped scallops
2/3 pound crab meat lump or claw
2/3 cup all-purpose flour
2 teaspoons minced garlic
1 pound large shrimp
1/4 cup minced celery
2 1/2 cups half and half
1 1/2 tablespoons parsley
1/4 cup minced onion
8 oz 1 stick butter
2 teaspoons paprika
4 1/2 cup milk
1 teaspoon sugar
1/4 cup cooking white wine

Instructions

Begin by melting 6 oz butter and cook the onion, celery, garlic together until they become soft. You can add in the flour, mix the ingredients for a few minutes.

Start adding the milk, then the half and half, and finish off with the seafood stock. You should be mixing the soup all the time while you’re pouring the liquids. When the soup becomes thick, you can lower the heat.

Saute the scallops and shrimp together using 2 oz of butter. This should take 4 to 5 minutes. When they are done, add them to the liquid mixture. Include the white wine, sugar, crab meat, and paprika. Let the seafood chowder simmer for 5 minutes. Wait for 10 minutes before you serve it.
