]]>Making your own oat milk is easier than you think. You can easily get the ingredients and the only tools you’ll need are a blender and a draining cloth. You’ll need:
Soak the oats in purified water and leave them for at least 30 minutes, but not longer than 12 hours. This will soften the oats and help remove the phytic acid.
Drain and rinse the oats well and discard the water. Put them into the blender, add purified water (3 cups), salt, and the optional spices. Blend for a minute or two.
Strain in a jar and keep refrigerated for 3-5 days. Shake before each use.
