The traditional meal to have for Easter is grilled ham. However, the classic recipe can get boring with time, so we’re offering you an upgrade. You can now prepare your ham with an orange honey glaze.

Ingredients

To prepare the best orange honey glazed grilled ham you should get:
1 pound ham steak
1/4 cup honey
1 clove minced garlic
1 cup chicken broth
1 tablespoon soy sauce
1/4 cup orange marmalade
1 tablespoon powdered ginger
1 chopped onion
1 zested and juiced orange

The ham should be sliced into thick slices.

Instructions

First, find a baking dish for the ham.

Then mix all the ingredients in a bowl until they are combined together. Pour the blend all over the ham and let it sit for 1 to 2 hours.

In the meantime, set the grill to medium heat. Get the slices of ham out of the dish and put them on the grill. Cook each side for 5 to 10 minutes until it’s ready.

Then add the marinade in a pan and wait for it to boil. When it does, lower the heat until it simmers. Cook it like that for 15 to 20 minutes, waiting for it to become thick.

Serve it in a bowl on the side of the grilled ham.

Ham is normally reserved for lunch or dinner, but it is a perfect meat to have in the morning. There are so many recipes that it works well with, and it is a less greasy and still delicious substitute from bacon. Although you should be careful with how much you intake, having the occasional treat-yourself type breakfast is a fun way to do something good for yourself.

Ham Scramble

If you are a little tired of regular scrambled eggs, why not through some ham in there! Just scramble your eggs as normal and add in bits of ham towards the end so it just heats through. Make sure you don’t season your eggs until they are off the heat and be sparing with the salt since ham is inherently salty.

Breakfast Sandwich

Everyone loves a good breakfast sandwich. Whether you want to use a classic southern biscuit, wrap it up in a burrito, a bagel, croissant, or more, ham is a great ingredient to add in. Just cook an egg however you like, add in a slice of cheese, ham, and at least a few vegetables like tomatoes or avocado and you are set to surely have a great day!
