Lion’s Head (China)

Lion’s head meatballs are popular in the Chinese city of Shanghai. They’re made with ground pork and water chestnuts. These give the meatballs a unique crunch and a distinctly Chinese touch.

Sour foods are like candy to some people. It is one of the four tastes our tongues can detect, and some people cannot get enough of it. If you are one of these people, there are tons of foods out there that are made just for you! Here’s a list of things you have to try.

Sour Beer

Sour beer, oftentimes called gose, is a type of beer that hails from Germany. It is often a lighter brew, but the way that it’s produced gives it a sour, teeth coating feel.

Citruses

Citruses are naturally sour as most people know, but some are more than others. The bitter orange also called the Seville orange, is said to be the sourest of them all.

Apple Cider Vinegar

This type of vinegar made out of apples has a distinctly sour taste to it, especially if you get one with the mother inside the bottle. You can make this into a salad dressing or even drink it as a detox drink.

Tamarind

Tamarind is a very common fruit in Asia and has a sour but slightly sweet taste. A lot of times it’s turned into a candy or a puree for savory dishes.
