Add cherry tomatoes, cucumber slices, red onion, and Kalamata olives for a burst of color and flavor. Toss in some crumbled feta and top it off with perfectly grilled or sautéed shrimp. Drizzle with a lemon-oregano vinaigrette for a final touch.
For a taste of the tropics, try a mango and crab salad. Begin with a bed of mixed greens or butter lettuce. Add fresh mango slices, avocado chunks, and thinly sliced red bell pepper. The sweet and creamy flavors pair beautifully with the delicate taste of crab meat.
For a salad with a bit of a kick, go for an Asian-inspired seared tuna salad. Start with a base of mixed greens, adding shredded carrots, edamame, sliced radishes, and thinly sliced scallions. Sear a tuna steak to your preferred doneness. Slice the tuna thinly and place it on top of the salad. Finish with sesame seeds and ginger-soy dressing.

]]>Salads don’t have to be daunting just because they’re healthy. And they don’t have to be boring, either! This all-green salad is from TikTok user @bakedbymelissa. It involves an appealing green salad dressing and can be eaten with tortilla chips (or rice cakes) like salsa. Let’s check it out.
TikTok star @bakedbymelissa starts the recipe by finely chopping half of the green cabbage head, three cucumbers, and a bunch of scallions. She combines the veggies in a bowl before starting to work on the dressing, which will take the salad to the next level.
For the dressing, Melissa combines two cloves garlic, one shallot, ¼ cup lemon juice, ¼ cup chives, ¼ cup olive oil, a splash of rice vinegar, some walnuts, fresh basil, baby spinach, nutritional yeast, and salt to taste in a blender. She blends the ingredients into a smooth consistency before pouring the dressing over the cabbage, cucumbers, and scallions.
The final result looks quite delicious, and we think it could work great as a healthy dip. Check out @bakedbymelissa’s video with full instructions below.
