]]>The pop-up from Bucket Listers is the perfect place to go if you’re single, nursing a broken heart, or just really hate the commerciality of Valentine’s Day.
Inspired by Taylor Swift’s award-winning track, “Bad Blood”, expect a vengeful vibe that is true to the lyrics of “Baby, now we’ve got bad blood / You know it used to be mad love / So take a look what you’ve done”.
“Whether you want to sing about your lover, those who were never yours, those you’re never getting back together with, or those who still have your scarf, this is the perfect place for you,” reads the description.
The bar is located at Electric Garden on S Racine Ave in Chicago and the $22 admission fee will also earn you a welcome drink.
Once inside, guests can get bejeweled for photos, indulge in champagne, have their fortune told by a tarot card reader, and spin the Shake It Off Wheel of Cocktails. But no, TayTay will not be present.
Bad Blood: a Taylor-themed Heartbreak Bar will be open from February 3 to 26.

]]>If you want to make the chocolate covered pretzels you should get 1 bag of pretzels, 2 bags of chocolate chips, sprinkles, coconut, nuts, and any other type of toppings that you like. When it comes to the chocolate chips, you can get one bag of white chocolate and one bag of regular. For the pretzels, make sure they are larger.
Prepare a plate where you’ll place the chocolate covered pretzels and you can also line it with cellophane or a waxed paper. Use a double boiler to melt the chocolate. If you are doing half of the pretzels with white chocolate and half with dark, you need to melt the two types of chocolate separately. It is recommended to get tongs so that you can hold the pretzels while dipping them. Once the chocolate chips are melted you can start dipping the pretzels one by one. Make sure that you do this quickly. Put the pretzels on the plate and you can decorate them while the chocolate is still soft. Sprinkle your choice of toppings, feel free to mix and match. Wait for the toppings to become harder or put them in the fridge.

]]>Make the tasty red velvet cookies by using the following ingredients: 1 egg, 1/4 teaspoons espresso powder, 1/2 cup sugar, 1/2 teaspoon salt, 1 teaspoon cornstarch, 1/2 cup brown sugar, 1/2 cup softened butter, 1 tablespoon buttermilk, 1 1/3 cup all-purpose flour, 1 cup white chocolate chips, 1 tablespoon red food coloring, 1 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract, 1/2 teaspoon baking soda, 2 1/2 tablespoons cocoa powder.
Start by beating the butter for one minute. Include both the white and brown sugar until you get a light, creamy structure. Add the vanilla, egg, buttermilk, espresso powder, and salt. The last step is the red food color.
Grab a second bowl and combine the baking soda, cocoa powder, flour, and cornstarch. This is the point when you should mix the two bowls together. You will get a dough that is almost done. Include the white chocolate chips and mix them in the dough. Put it in the fridge for at least half an hour.
Start making cookies and put them on a baking sheet. Bake them for 10 minutes at a temperature of 350 F degrees. Take out the red velvet cookies and wait for them to cool down a little before you serve them.

]]>The ingredient list includes: 1 large egg yolk, 1 teaspoon vanilla extract, 2/3 cup raspberry jam, 16 tablespoons unsalted butter, 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour, 2/3 cup plus 3 tablespoons confectioners sugar, 1/4 teaspoon salt.
Before you begin set the oven to 325 F degrees and get two baking sheets. Mix the 2/3 sugar and butter and beat them together. Add the vanilla extract, egg yolk, flour and salt as well. You will get a dough, which you should divide into two parts, and put one of them in the fridge.
Use the second one to form a disk and start making the heart-shaped cookies with a cutter. Form smaller hearts on the inside on half of the cookies. Put all of the cookies on the baking sheet and put them in the oven. Bake for 12 minutes and take them out. Wait for 5 minutes and you can start covering them with jam. Cover the parts that don’t have a small heart with the raspberry jam and cover them with the other halves. Cover them with the sugar. This is when your jam heart cookies are done.
