Bananas are a fruit that can be made to fit into so many dishes; whether you’re looking for a snack or a proper meal, bananas are a great ingredient to use. Keep them on hand in your pantry and you’ll always be prepared. Pro tip: wrap the top of the bunch in plastic wrap to stop them from going bad so you can use them for longer!

Banana Pancakes

These pancakes couldn’t be easier and can be made to be gluten-free. All you need to do is mash a banana, add eggs and cinnamon and mix well. Grind some regular or gluten-free oats into a fine powder and add to the mixture. Spoon 1/4 of a cup onto a griddle or saute pan and you have a healthy and delicious breakfast.

Chocolate Banana Nice Cream

An awesome way to keep cool this summer is by making nice cream, a play on regular ice cream. Put frozen bananas, honey, and cocoa powder into a food processor. Blend until smooth and keep in a freezer safe container.

Banana Curry

Instead of using coconut milk for a sweet and creamy curry, use a blend of mashed bananas and almond milk for the same effect with a twist.
