]]>For the cedar plank salmon, you should get:
1 cedar plank
1 lb salmon fillet with the skin on
2 tablespoons olive oil
3 tablespoons honey
3 teaspoons fresh grated ginger
1/3 cup soy sauce
low-sodium
The first step is to place the cedar plank in water for 30 to 60 minutes.
In the meantime mix the honey, soy sauce, ginger, and olive oil. Place the mixture in a bag, then add the salmon in as well. Let it stay in there while you’re waiting for the cedar plank.
Set the grill to 400 to 425 F degrees.
When the time is up, put the salmon on the cedar plank. The skin should be facing down. You can now grill the two together for 18 to 25 minutes.
While you’re waiting, cook the marinade. Pour it in a pan and let it simmer for 10 minutes.
Cover the cooked cedar plank salmon with the marinade as a sauce while it’s in the grill.
