]]>For the grilled Paloma cocktail, you should get:
4 oz tequila
4 oz grapefruit juice
1 medium yellow or pink grapefruit
2 oz of squeezed lime juice
1 oz agave nectar or simple syrup
2 limes
kosher salt
2 oz club soda
ice
Before starting, cut the grapefruit and limes in half.
The grilled part in the name of the cocktail comes from the fact that you have to grill the citrus fruits to prepare the drink. Turn on your grill and prepare a grill pan. Place the halves of the limes and the grapefruit on the pan for 4 to 5 minutes. You will notice brown lines on them, that means they’re done.
Now it’s time to prepare the high ball glasses for the drink. Pour the salt on a plate and place the wet rim of the glass on the salt. Use a shaker and fill it with ice. Pour 2 oz of tequila, 1 oz squeezed lime juice, 2 oz squeezed grapefruit juice, 1/2 oz agave nectar. Shake the liquids and add pour it in one glass.
Finish off with 1 oz of club soda. Use the rest of the ingredients for the second.
