Mambo sauce, on the other hand, is already a popular condiment in the Washington D.C. region but isn’t well-known in other parts of the United States. Being offered by McDonald’s will likely change it considering the sauce’s unique flavor profile that is described as a delicate balance of sweet and spicy.
The Sweet & Spicy Jam and Mambo are already available at McDonald’s locations nationwide and are here for a limited amount of time. The first reactions are quite positive, so make sure to try it before it’s gone.
TikTok user @waynedang reviewed the sauces and described Sweet & Spicy Jam as similar to iconic Sweet & Sour sauce but spicier, while saying that Mambo sauce is like barbecue spice but much “hotter.” You can check out his and several other reactions to the sauces below.

]]>Selena + Chef was originally conceived as an HBO Max original during the pandemic, and it saw Gomez improving her cooking skills alongside a different professional chef in each episode. Earlier this year, it was announced that she’ll partner up with Food Network for two new cooking shows – and Selena + Chef: Home for the Holidays seems to be one of them.
Gomez will join forces with Eric Adjepong, Alex Guarnaschelli, Michael Symon, and Claudette Zepeda in this holiday special. They’ll help her prepare a series of festive dishes, including roast beef and mashed potatoes, a surf-and-turf Christmas meal featuring steak and lobster, a Mexican feast with tamales, and a New Year brunch featuring shrimp with banana grits and malva pudding.
The four-episode special will premiere on Food Network on November 30, and Gomez said, “It was an honor to have these amazing chefs in [her] kitchen to introduce some of their favorite foods and what makes the holidays special for them.”

]]>The gherkin manufacturers, which first began operating in 1942, have drawn inspiration from what they know and created the world’s first candle that smells like a jar of pickles!
The unusual item is a collaboration with the brand Candier by Ryan Porter which is known for making candles with amusing scents with funny names like “know your worth and add tax,” and “I’m not coming unless there’s wine”.
“We saw a huge opportunity to do something really fun and different with Vlasic in celebration of National Pickle Day. But creating a candle that looks and smells like a real jar of pickles posed several big challenges,” said Krysten Kauder who founded Candier. “Getting the wax pickles to look like they’re floating in clear liquid was really tough. So, everything had to be done by hand, including the placement of the pickles and pouring of the wax. After lots of rounds of research and testing, our team nailed it and produced a 100% wax candle that looks and smells like a jar of Vlasic pickles.”
Just don’t be tempted to grab a gherkin!

Inspired by Taylor Swift’s award-winning track, “Bad Blood”, expect a vengeful vibe that is true to the lyrics of “Baby, now we’ve got bad blood / You know it used to be mad love / So take a look what you’ve done”.
“Whether you want to sing about your lover, those who were never yours, those you’re never getting back together with, or those who still have your scarf, this is the perfect place for you,” reads the description.
The bar is located at Electric Garden on S Racine Ave in Chicago and the $22 admission fee will also earn you a welcome drink.
Once inside, guests can get bejeweled for photos, indulge in champagne, have their fortune told by a tarot card reader, and spin the Shake It Off Wheel of Cocktails. But no, TayTay will not be present.
Bad Blood: a Taylor-themed Heartbreak Bar will be open from February 3 to 26.

In case you didn’t know, January 22 marks National Hot Sauce Day (don’t worry, it’s news to us, too). To celebrate this auspicious holiday, Mountain Dew has decided to partner up with a Houston-based sauce shop called iBurn to create a hot sauce with a signature fruity tinge.
So what can we expect?
“The new MTN DEW Baja Blast Hot Sauce merges the iconic tropical flavor of the fan-favorite MTN DEW Baja Blast with the heat from habanero peppers, green chiles, and jalapeño peppers for a taste straight from Baja Island!” states the description.
And in true Baja Blast style, the hot sauce is blue!
But those who want to taste the spicy stuff will have to have a fair bit of luck on their side…
Mountain Dew has decided to make only 750 bottles of the sauce—all of which can only be won. The competition on the soft drink’s website involves selecting one of four foods that you’d like to try with the Baja Blast Hot Sauce.

]]>The cocktail is one of the most popular at the moment, but it has actually been around since the late ‘80s. Made with hot espresso, vodka, and coffee liqueur, it’s the kind of drink that will have you feeling alert and tipsy at the same time!
These days, it’s super easy to have an espresso martini on the go, thanks to Tip Top Proper Cocktails. The company makes cocktails like manhattans, daiquiris, negronis, and, of course, espresso martinis and serves them in cans.
Delta has taken note, and will be offering the coffee-based drink from Tip Top Proper Cocktails on selected domestic and international flights from March. Passengers across all cabins will be able to indulge.
The boozy beverage is not the only new addition to the airline’s offering.
Expect regional dishes inspired by the destination country, menu items from the Gramercy Tavern in New York, Questlove’s famous plant-based cheesesteak, and the re-introduction of Delta One’s decadent dessert cart.
“Your onboard meal or beverage should be no different than your go-to restaurant at home,” says Delta’s SVP of In-Flight Service, Kristen Manion Taylor.

]]>Shake Shack recently took to social media to unveil two new winter-themed milkshake flavors: the Tiramisu Shake and the Dreamsicle Shake.

The Tiramisu Shake is made from standard vanilla custard infused with coffee and mascarpone. It is topped with whipped cream, which is then dusted with cocoa powder. As a finishing touch, the customer also gets a ladyfinger cookie in their milkshake. This is a modified version of Shake Shack’s tiramisu milkshake that was available in 2019.
The Dreamsicle Shake was apparently inspired by the classic orange cream ice cream and features a blend of blood orange custard and vanilla custard. It is also topped with whipped cream and garnished with orange candy chunks.
Both the Tiramisu Shake and the Dreamsicle Shake are already available in Shake Shacks across the nation. They are here for a limited time only, so make sure to give them a try while you can.
