]]>Other than eating marshmallows in their original form, dipping them in your hot chocolate, or roasting them over the fire, you can also use them in delicious desserts. So, here are three marshmallow-based dessert recipes that are bound to make you lick your fingers.
Before you even ask: yes, this recipe is as enticing as its name suggests. This recipe by food blogger Tina G, who goes by “Simply Tina G” on Instagram, is probably all you need right now. It’s the perfect combo of chocolate and marshmallow, and it’s also gluten-free, based on almond flour, coconut flour, and tapioca flour.
This is a recipe by the amazing “A Classic Twist Blog”, who is not only a talented cook but is also a mother of two and the proud owner of a science PhD. With such impressive qualifications, you just know that her recipe is going to be amazing. This one is a simple chocolate sponge cake, but the special treat here is the toasted marshmallow filling.
This sweet treat is perfect for when you just feel like an upgraded between-meals snack. It’s simple and quick to make, with only three or four ingredients overall! According to lovely Alex, this one is perfect for inexperienced cooks or bakers who don’t have a lot of confidence in the kitchen. All you need to do is how to follow a recipe and melt chocolate. It’s also great to make with your kids, and you can decorate it however you like.

]]>The post 3 Winning Salad Recipes from Cookie and Kate appeared first on falafelandcaviar.com.
]]>Food blogger Kate from the Cookie and Kate website has a ton of cool salad recipes you can try. Here are three of them!
Kate’s popular chickpea salad recipe is a solid choice if you feel like having salad as a main course. It can also go well as a side dish, but the chickpeas combined with the vegetables create a sense of a full, satisfying meal. Other than chickpeas, it includes celery, pepper, red onion, and parsley, seasoned with lemon and garlic.
Just looking at the name of this salad is sure to make you drool, so just imagine actually eating it! The sweet-and-savory combination of roasted beet and goat cheese along with pistachios and some fresh greens is a true vegetarian winner.
Yet another one in the sweet-and-salty category is Kate’s refreshing green salad with Granny Smith apples, cranberries, and pepitas mixed with goat cheese. The salty and creamy goat cheese compliments the sweet-sour green apple slice, and together with the other ingredients, it’s just pure perfection.

]]>Taiwan-born, Vancouver-raised, and slow-aged in New York, Lee decided to open her food blog after moving to Beijing. Now based in Hong Kong with her husband and a growing number of dog-children (hence the nickname Lady and Pups), her love of traveling and food is eminent in every recipe.
A recent recipe by Lee that caught our attention is her spaghetti in tomato sauce. Call us basic, but there’s nothing better and more comforting than a hot bowl of spaghetti.
“Spaghetti with tomato sauce is the oldest thing on the menu, yet, it can still be exciting with a twist,” writes Lee on her blog. “Whatever recipe of tomato sauce that you dug up from your ancestor’s grave should work fine, but I make mine with simply olive oil, garlic, fresh thyme, but most importantly, seasoned with fish sauce with a good pinch of sugar.”
According to Lee, the trick is to reduce the sauce down by 1/2, “because thick tomato sauces agree with me.” Another tip? “Let your spaghetti that is still slightly under-cooked finish cooking inside the tomato sauce, allow proper introduction and chemistry between the two before pushing them onto the stage.”

]]>The post You Must Check Out Binging with Babish appeared first on falafelandcaviar.com.
]]>Andrew Rea, a self-taught chef from Mendon, New York, began in 2016 with this YouTube channel. His goal was to recreate some of the dishes and favorites from different TV shows and to show people how to make these dishes.
Although you might not realize it, most television shows and movies showcase some type of food (either at home or in a restaurant) as part of its plot. While some of these dishes are quite memorable, such as “Spongebob Squarepants” and its Krabby Patty, others are often forgotten about.
However, Rea does his best to combine both the unforgettable and the minor dishes shown in different entertainment venues as part of his series of YouTube videos. For example, on one episode which is centered on TV drama “The Wire,” Rea shows viewers how to make a number of Baltimore classics.
Cooking shows can be repetitive and boring, but “Binging with Babish” truly puts a new spin on an old classic. So, head to his Instagram account or YouTube channel and find something that interests you!
