Are you looking for a cake recipe that’s more exciting than vanilla, but a bit lighter than chocolate? Well, we’ve found it with this lemon olive oil cake. Done in 1h and 15 minutes, it will satisfy all your senses.

Ingredients:

For the Cake:

  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 tablespoon grated lemon peel
  • 1 2/3 all-purpose flour
  • 3 eggs
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup extra virgin olive oil
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup vanilla yogurt

For the Lemon Glaze:

  • 1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil
  • grated lemon peel
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
  • 1 cup powdered sugar

Instructions:

  1. Set the oven to 350 F degrees and prepare a 9-inch springform pan with spray.
  2. Combine the baking powder, salt, and flour together in a bowl.
  3. Get a second bowl to mix the eggs and granulated sugar with an electric mixer. Use low speed, then include the 1 tablespoon lemon peel, olive oil, and yogurt.
  4. Continue beating until you get a smooth mixture. Transfer the mixture into the springform pan.
  5. Place the pan in the oven and let it bake for 30 to 35 minutes.
  6. Take out the pan and let the lemon olive oil cake cool down for 15 minutes.
  7. Poke holes at every inch of the cake before you prepare the topping.
  8. Mix the powdered sugar, lemon juice, and olive oil together until combined. Add it on top of the cake.

In just a few years, 10% of all lemons on the U.S. market could be seedless, according to citrus company Wonderful Company. What are your thoughts on that?

How many times have you been annoyed by the lemon seeds as you’re trying to make a lemonade or slice up some lemons for dinner? Wonderful Company is working hard to make seedless lemons a common thing you can buy everywhere and it may happen a lot sooner than you think.

In fact, seedless lemons are already available at grocery chains across the U.S. The company claims they are “naturally seedless, Non-GMO Project verified variety of lemon” that is as “juicy and zesty—everything consumers love about lemons minus the inconvenient seeds,” and makes “preparing cocktails and cooking even easier.”

There have been previous attempts at seedless lemons, but it’s just now that someone has found the perfect commercial variety of them. For now, they will be available from November through May, according to the California growing season. The company hopes that by 2021, once their Mexico farms are up and running, the seedless lemons will be available all year round.

Lemon drop is one of the most iconic cocktails that you should definitely try. This recipe is so easy that you can make it in less than 5 minutes. It’s meant for 1 serving and you can always add more if you’re having friends over.

Ingredients

  • 50 ml vodka
  • 25 ml lemon juice
  • zest of 1/2 a lemon
  • 1 tablespoon white caster sugar
  • 25 ml triple sec
  • ice

Instructions

For the lemon drop cocktail, you will need a cocktail shaker and a martini glass. If you don’t have one you can always use any other cute cocktail glass.

Before you start making your drink place the glass in the fridge. It has to be cold.

Get a small glass and fill it with the finely grated lemon zest and white caster sugar. Mix the two ingredients very well.

Fill the cocktail shaker with the vodka, lemon juice, triple sec and ice.

Start shaking it and stop when the shaker becomes cold.

Get the glass out of the fridge. Use a small plate to add the sugar and lemon zest mix on it.

Put the rim of the glass in water, then dip it in the plate with sugar.

Pour the drink from the shaker into the glass. Decorate with a lemon slice.

The bite-sized lemon pudding tarts we’re bringing to you today are so tasty, you won’t be able to say no. The prep time is half an hour, while the whole process can take up to 3 hours. Don’t worry, you won’t even notice the time going by!

Ingredients

The ingredients you need are:
1 package (4 servings) lemon instant pudding
1/3 cup melted butter
3/4 cup cold milk
1-1/2 cups graham crumbs
3 tablespoons fresh lime juice
1 tablespoon dark corn syrup
3/4 cup whipped cream

Instructions

First set the oven to 350 F degrees.

You will need a muffin tin or cups to make the mini lemon pudding tarts. Prepare them with cooking spray.

Mix the corn syrup, graham crumbs, and butter, then press them to the bottom of the muffin tin.

Leave them in the oven for 8 to 10 minutes, then let them cool down.

While you’re waiting you can prepare the pudding according to the instructions on the packaging.

Add the lime juice and 1/4 cup of the whipping cream. Leave it in the fridge.

Fill a plastic bag with the pudding and cut one corner. Fill the muffin cups with this mixture.

Leave them in the fridge for 2 hours and add the remaining whipping cream on top.

Are you looking for a cake recipe that’s more exciting than vanilla, but a bit lighter than chocolate? Well, we’ve found it with this lemon olive oil cake. Done in 1h and 15 minutes, it will satisfy all your senses.

Ingredients:

For the Cake:

  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 tablespoon grated lemon peel
  • 1 2/3 all-purpose flour
  • 3 eggs
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup extra virgin olive oil
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup vanilla yogurt

For the Lemon Glaze:

  • 1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil
  • grated lemon peel
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
  • 1 cup powdered sugar

Instructions:

  1. Set the oven to 350 F degrees and prepare a 9-inch springform pan with spray.
  2. Combine the baking powder, salt, and flour together in a bowl.
  3. Get a second bowl to mix the eggs and granulated sugar with an electric mixer. Use low speed, then include the 1 tablespoon lemon peel, olive oil, and yogurt.
  4. Continue beating until you get a smooth mixture. Transfer the mixture into the springform pan.
  5. Place the pan in the oven and let it bake for 30 to 35 minutes.
  6. Take out the pan and let the lemon olive oil cake cool down for 15 minutes.
  7. Poke holes at every inch of the cake before you prepare the topping.
  8. Mix the powdered sugar, lemon juice, and olive oil together until combined. Add it on top of the cake.
  9. Finish off with the grated lemon peel.

In just a few years, 10% of all lemons on the U.S. market could be seedless, according to citrus company Wonderful Company. What are your thoughts on that?

How many times have you been annoyed by the lemon seeds as you’re trying to make a lemonade or slice up some lemons for dinner? Wonderful Company is working hard to make seedless lemons a common thing you can buy everywhere and it may happen a lot sooner than you think.

In fact, seedless lemons are already available at grocery chains across the U.S. The company claims they are “naturally seedless, Non-GMO Project verified variety of lemon” that is as “juicy and zesty—everything consumers love about lemons minus the inconvenient seeds,” and makes “preparing cocktails and cooking even easier.”

There have been previous attempts at seedless lemons, but it’s just now that someone has found the perfect commercial variety of them. For now, they will be available from November through May, according to the California growing season. The company hopes that by 2021, once their Mexico farms are up and running, the seedless lemons will be available all year round.

Lemon drop is one of the most iconic cocktails that you should definitely try. This recipe is so easy that you can make it in less than 5 minutes. It’s meant for 1 serving and you can always add more if you’re having friends over.

Ingredients

  • 50 ml vodka
  • 25 ml lemon juice
  • zest of 1/2 a lemon
  • 1 tablespoon white caster sugar
  • 25 ml triple sec
  • ice

Instructions

For the lemon drop cocktail, you will need a cocktail shaker and a martini glass. If you don’t have one you can always use any other cute cocktail glass.

Before you start making your drink place the glass in the fridge. It has to be cold.

Get a small glass and fill it with the finely grated lemon zest and white caster sugar. Mix the two ingredients very well.

Fill the cocktail shaker with the vodka, lemon juice, triple sec and ice.

Start shaking it and stop when the shaker becomes cold.

Get the glass out of the fridge. Use a small plate to add the sugar and lemon zest mix on it.

Put the rim of the glass in water, then dip it in the plate with sugar.

Pour the drink from the shaker into the glass. Decorate with a lemon slice.

The bite-sized lemon pudding tarts we’re bringing to you today are so tasty, you won’t be able to say no. The prep time is half an hour, while the whole process can take up to 3 hours. Don’t worry, you won’t even notice the time going by!

Ingredients

The ingredients you need are:
1 package (4 servings) lemon instant pudding
1/3 cup melted butter
3/4 cup cold milk
1-1/2 cups graham crumbs
3 tablespoons fresh lime juice
1 tablespoon dark corn syrup
3/4 cup whipped cream

Instructions

First set the oven to 350 F degrees.

You will need a muffin tin or cups to make the mini lemon pudding tarts. Prepare them with cooking spray.

Mix the corn syrup, graham crumbs, and butter, then press them to the bottom of the muffin tin.

Leave them in the oven for 8 to 10 minutes, then let them cool down.

While you’re waiting you can prepare the pudding according to the instructions on the packaging.

Add the lime juice and 1/4 cup of the whipping cream. Leave it in the fridge.

Fill a plastic bag with the pudding and cut one corner. Fill the muffin cups with this mixture.

Leave them in the fridge for 2 hours and add the remaining whipping cream on top.
