]]>Woks excel at creating restaurant-quality stir-fries with crisp-tender vegetables and perfectly cooked protein. Chicken, tofu, shrimp, or beef are all great options.
From tempura vegetables to golden potstickers, you can achieve that satisfyingly crispy texture without needing a deep fryer. Just be sure to use a heat-resistant oil and monitor the temperature carefully.
Woks are fantastic for steaming! Fill your steamer basket with dumplings, buns, or vegetables, and let the wok work its magic.
You might be surprised, but woks can even be used for smoking! By adding wood chips or smoking pellets to a small pan placed in the bottom of the wok, you can infuse your meats and vegetables with a smoky flavor.
The deep body allows for slow cooking of stews, curries, and noodle dishes. Simply sear your meat in the wok, add your braising liquids and aromatics, and simmer to tender perfection.

]]>There are plenty of recipes on TikTok for this unusual side dish, but we liked the one from TikTok user @sweet.audra.brown the most. Her video recipe received more than three million views and got quite positive reactions from those who tried it.
To make melted onions, you’ll only need some onions, melted butter, salt and pepper, and a muffin tin. That’s it.
First, peel the onions and cut them in half. Place the halves inside muffin tin cups and sprinkle with salt and pepper. Pop in an oven at 425F for 20 minutes.
Take the muffin tin out of the oven and brush each onion with melted butter. Return to the oven for another 40 minutes. You’ll want to brush them again with melted butter towards the end of those 40 minutes. Finally, take the onions out of the oven, let them cool for several minutes, and serve.

]]>Ultimately, the amount of takeout food that you order really depends on your personal situation. Allow us to cover a few of these different bases.
The first thing that should be addressed is how well off you are financially. This may seem like an uncomfortable subject, but you need to ask yourself these questions in order to make good choices. If you have plenty of financial freedom where having a savings account isn’t really necessary, then you’re probably okay to order out plenty. But if you live more in the real world, you should probably limit it to once a week.
Another thing to ask yourself is how healthy the takeout food is. More often than not, takeout food isn’t super healthy, but if you’re someone who orders exclusively from healthy spots, you can be a bit more lenient. Otherwise, again, you should probably limit your takeout orders to once or twice a week.

]]>After peeling your potatoes for another recipe (like mashed potatoes or roasted potatoes), collect the leftover potato skins. Preheat your oven to 400°F.
Place the potato skins in a mixing bowl and drizzle them with olive oil. Season the skins with salt and any additional spices you like. Paprika, garlic powder, or a pinch of cayenne pepper are all great ideas.
Toss the potato skins gently to evenly coat them with the olive oil and seasonings. Lay out the seasoned potato skins in a single layer on a baking sheet.
Place the baking sheet in the oven and bake for 15-20 minutes. After 15 minutes, start checking the potato skins. Use a fork or tongs to gently pick up one of the skins and see if it’s crispy. If it’s not quite there yet, leave them in the oven for a few more minutes.
Once the potato skin fries are golden and crispy, remove them from the oven. Let them cool for a minute and enjoy.
