  • 1 cup uncooked pudding rice
  • 3.5 cups full-fat milk
  • ¼ cup demerara sugar
  • Pinch of sea salt
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ½ teaspoon dried nutmeg
  • ½ teaspoon dried cinnamon

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 340℉.
  2. Grease an ovenproof dish with a little butter or oil.
  3. Add all the ingredients (leaving a bit of nutmeg and sugar) to the dish and stir well.

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups plain flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • ½ cup demerara sugar

  • 1 cup of pitted dates
  • 1 cup of halved almonds
  • 2 eggs 
  • A pinch of sea salt

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 350℉.

Ingredients:

  • 1 Cadbury egg, halved
  • 1/4 cup milk chocolate
  • 1 1/2 ounces vodka
  • 2 1/2 ounces crème de cacao
  • 3 tablespoons condensed milk
  • 3/4 cups half and half
  • 3/4 cups selzer
  • Yellow and red food dye
  • ice

Instructions

  1. Microwave chocolate for 10 seconds before stirring. Repeat the process twice so that the chocolate has been heated for 30 seconds total.

  • 1 1/4 cups of all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup of unsalted butter, cold and cubed
  • 1/4 cup of granulated sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 large egg yolk
  • 2 tablespoons ice water
  • 4-5 medium-sized apples (such as Granny Smith or Honeycrisp), peeled, cored, and thinly sliced
  • 1/4 cup of granulated sugar
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 2 tablespoons apricot preserves

Instructions:

  1. Start by making the pastry crust. In a food processor, combine the flour, cold cubed butter, sugar, and salt. Pulse until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
  2. Add the egg yolk and ice water to the mixture and pulse until the dough comes together. If the dough is too dry, add more ice water, 1 tablespoon at a time. Just because you’ve never heard of Banana Bread Day, doesn’t mean it doesn’t exist. This is a very real day (well, at least according to the internet), and the ultimate way of celebrating it is by making banana bread at home. 

Let’s just get something out of the way before we begin—banana bread is basically banana cake. And it goes perfectly with your morning or afternoon coffee or tea. Now, here’s a ridiculously easy banana bread recipe you should try ASAP.

Ingredients:

  • 2 bananas (the riper, the better)
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/3 cup oil
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • A grain of salt
  • Optional: some chocolate chips or walnuts

Instructions:

  1. Mash the bananas well until you get a smooth mixture (try to make the mixture as uniform as possible, but even if there are some lumps, it will still work, so no worries).
  2. In a large bowl, beat the egg together with the mashed bananas, sugar, oil, and vanilla extract.
  3. Then add the flour, baking powder, and salt, and mix well until you get a uniform texture.
  4. If you want, you can add chocolate chips (as many as you like) or chopped walnuts (same).
  5. Pour the whole thing into a silicone cake mold (preferably a standard rectangle one) and bake for about 30 minutes (or until golden brown) at 375°F.
  6. Voila – you have yourself a banana bread that’s soft on the inside, crispy on the outside, and absolutely delicious.

(Makes 12 muffins)

  • 2 cups plain flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • ½ cup caster sugar
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup chocolate chips

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 340℉
  2. Place some muffin cases into a muffin tray
  3. Add the flour, baking powder, sugar, and butter to a large mixing bowl and mix until smooth
  4. Crack the eggs into the bowl and whisk them in
  5. Add the chocolate chips to the bowl and stir them through until evenly spread throughout 
  6. Use a large spoon to transfer some of the mixture into each muffin case, making sure that there is roughly the same amount in each case
  7. Place the muffin tray in the oven for 15-20 minutes, until the muffins have risen
  8. Check they’re cooked all the way through by sticking a knife in the ones in the center and seeing if it comes out clean, accounting for melted chocolate
  9. Once cooked, place the muffins on a cooling rack and leave for 10-15 minutes before enjoying

Ingredients

  • 1 pack (250 g) of Lotus Biscoff biscuits
  • 1 cup cream cheese (at room temperature)
  • 3/4 cup Lotus Biscoff spread (at room temperature)
  • 1 1/3 cup cold heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 pack of vanilla sugar (or 1 tsp vanilla extract)

Once you have the ingredients at hand, it’s time to start making your Lotus Biscoff cheesecake cups.

@daniascuisine Impress others with these addicting Lotus Biscoff cheesecake cups. This recipe makes about 30 mini cheesecake cups (60mL cups). Bottom Biscoff crumble layer: Crumble 1 pack (250 g) of lotus Biscoff biscuits using a food processor. Scoop 1 tbsp of crumbs into each cup and flatten this layer using the bottom of an extra cup. Middle cheesecake layer: In a large bowl, whip together 1 cup cream cheese and ¾ cup Lotus Biscoff spread, both at room temperature. In a separate medium bowl, add 1 ⅓ cup cold heavy cream, ½ cup powdered sugar, and 1 pack of vanilla sugar (or 1 tsp vanilla extract) then whip these together until stiff peaks form. Gently fold the whipped cream mixture into the cream cheese mixture. Pipe a thick layer of this cheesecake mixture into each cup. Top decoration: Melt ¼ cup of Lotus Biscoff spread and drizzle some onto the top of each cheesecake cup. Finally, crumble a couple more Biscoff biscuits to decorate the cheesecake cup tops. Bottom Layer

Use a food processor to crumble a pack of Lotus Biscoff biscuits. Then, sprinkle 1 tbsp of the crumbs into each cup, flattening the layer with the bottom of an extra cup.

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups plain flour

  • 1 cup of halved almonds
  • 2 eggs 
  • A pinch of sea salt

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 350℉.

Ingredients:

  • 1 Cadbury egg, halved

  • 1 1/4 cups of all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup of unsalted butter, cold and cubed
  • 1/4 cup of granulated sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 large egg yolk
  • 2 tablespoons ice water
  • 4-5 medium-sized apples (such as Granny Smith or Honeycrisp), peeled, cored, and thinly sliced
  • 1/4 cup of granulated sugar
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 2 tablespoons apricot preserves
  • 1 tablespoon water

Instructions:

  1. Start by making the pastry crust. In a food processor, combine the flour, cold cubed butter, sugar, and salt. Pulse until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
  2. Add the egg yolk and ice water to the mixture and pulse until the dough comes together. If the dough is too dry, add more ice water, 1 tablespoon at a time. Turn the dough out onto a lightly floured surface and knead it gently until it forms a smooth ball. Flatten the dough into a disk, wrap it in plastic wrap, and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
  3. While the dough is chilling, preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). In a large bowl, toss the sliced apples with lemon juice, granulated sugar, cinnamon, and nutmeg until well coated.
  4. On a lightly floured surface, roll out the chilled pastry dough into a circle about 12 inches in diameter. Carefully transfer the dough to a parchment-lined baking sheet. Just because you’ve never heard of Banana Bread Day, doesn’t mean it doesn’t exist. This is a very real day (well, at least according to the internet), and the ultimate way of celebrating it is by making banana bread at home. 

Let’s just get something out of the way before we begin—banana bread is basically banana cake. And it goes perfectly with your morning or afternoon coffee or tea. Now, here’s a ridiculously easy banana bread recipe you should try ASAP.

Ingredients:

  • 2 bananas (the riper, the better)
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/3 cup oil
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • A grain of salt
  • Optional: some chocolate chips or walnuts

Instructions:

  1. Mash the bananas well until you get a smooth mixture (try to make the mixture as uniform as possible, but even if there are some lumps, it will still work, so no worries).
  2. In a large bowl, beat the egg together with the mashed bananas, sugar, oil, and vanilla extract.
  3. Then add the flour, baking powder, and salt, and mix well until you get a uniform texture.
  4. If you want, you can add chocolate chips (as many as you like) or chopped walnuts (same).
  5. Pour the whole thing into a silicone cake mold (preferably a standard rectangle one) and bake for about 30 minutes (or until golden brown) at 375°F.
  6. Voila – you have yourself a banana bread that’s soft on the inside, crispy on the outside, and absolutely delicious.

These muffins are so easy to make, and incredibly tasty. They’re perfect when you fancy a simple sweet treat that can be whipped up in no time. They’re also great for popping in packed lunches as they travel well. Once cooked, these can be stored in an airtight container for up to one week. 

Ingredients:

(Makes 12 muffins)

  • 2 cups plain flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • ½ cup caster sugar
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup chocolate chips

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 340℉
  2. Place some muffin cases into a muffin tray
  3. Add the flour, baking powder, sugar, and butter to a large mixing bowl and mix until smooth
  4. Crack the eggs into the bowl and whisk them in
  5. Add the chocolate chips to the bowl and stir them through until evenly spread throughout 
  6. Use a large spoon to transfer some of the mixture into each muffin case, making sure that there is roughly the same amount in each case
  7. Place the muffin tray in the oven for 15-20 minutes, until the muffins have risen
  8. Check they’re cooked all the way through by sticking a knife in the ones in the center and seeing if it comes out clean, accounting for melted chocolate
  9. Once cooked, place the muffins on a cooling rack and leave for 10-15 minutes before enjoying

Ingredients

  • 1 pack (250 g) of Lotus Biscoff biscuits
  • 1 cup cream cheese (at room temperature)
  • 3/4 cup Lotus Biscoff spread (at room temperature)
  • 1 1/3 cup cold heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 pack of vanilla sugar (or 1 tsp vanilla extract)

Once you have the ingredients at hand, it’s time to start making your Lotus Biscoff cheesecake cups.

@daniascuisine Impress others with these addicting Lotus Biscoff cheesecake cups. This recipe makes about 30 mini cheesecake cups (60mL cups). Bottom Biscoff crumble layer: Crumble 1 pack (250 g) of lotus Biscoff biscuits using a food processor. Scoop 1 tbsp of crumbs into each cup and flatten this layer using the bottom of an extra cup. Middle cheesecake layer: In a large bowl, whip together 1 cup cream cheese and ¾ cup Lotus Biscoff spread, both at room temperature. In a separate medium bowl, add 1 ⅓ cup cold heavy cream, ½ cup powdered sugar, and 1 pack of vanilla sugar (or 1 tsp vanilla extract) then whip these together until stiff peaks form. Gently fold the whipped cream mixture into the cream cheese mixture. Pipe a thick layer of this cheesecake mixture into each cup. Top decoration: Melt ¼ cup of Lotus Biscoff spread and drizzle some onto the top of each cheesecake cup. Finally, crumble a couple more Biscoff biscuits to decorate the cheesecake cup tops. Bottom Layer

Use a food processor to crumble a pack of Lotus Biscoff biscuits. Then, sprinkle 1 tbsp of the crumbs into each cup, flattening the layer with the bottom of an extra cup.

Middle Layer

Mix 1 cup of cream cheese with 3/4 cup of Lotus Biscoff spread in a bowl.

In a separate bowl, mix the cold heavy cream, powdered sugar, and vanilla sugar until you get stiff peaks.Now, combine the two, and pipe a generous layer of this cheesecake mixture into each one of the cups.

Top Decoration

Perfect your Lotus Biscoff cheesecake cups by melting 1/4 cup of Lotus Biscoff spread, drizzle it on top of each cup, and with some more Biscoff crumbs. Let your cups chill in the fridge for a bit, then serve cold.
