We’re fairly certain that those enticing items are not available off-screen, but one which you can get your hands on is the McBaguette from Emily in Paris.

During the third season of the Netflix series, Emily Cooper finds herself being contacted by her ex-boyfriend who is now a global exec at McDonald’s. Doug is on the lookout for a French marketing agency to launch the McBaguette and, as luck would have it, Emily happens to work at one!

The sandwich does not come to fruition on the show, but McDonald’s has held up its end of the bargain in real life.

First launched a decade ago, the McBaguette comprises a baguette filled with two burger patties, two slices of Emmental cheese, lettuce, and French mustard.

To celebrate the new season of Emily in Paris, French branches of the fast food chain are now offering customers a special meal that consists of a McBaguette, French fries, two macrons, and a medium-sized drink.

Sadly, the special sandwich is only available in the European country, as if we needed any more incentive to visit Paris!

]]> Not everybody is a fan of McDonald’s menu, but it’s really difficult to find someone who doesn’t love their french fries! To this day, they offer the best combination of crispiness and flavor on the market. Is there a way to recreate them at home? According to Popsugar, there is.

“We decided to take a deep dive into what it takes to create these golden, salty, downright potato-y fries,” the outlet writes. “Thanks to intel from MythBusters’ Grant Imahara, we were able to dig into the process and figure out how to engineer the best french fry we could. Are you brave enough to try this at home? Watch our video to find out how to recreate the magic!”

The recipe uses Idaho russet potatoes, so we recommend you find them for the best result. The original McDonald’s fries require over 14 different ingredients, but this recipe is less complicated. Soaking the fries in the sugar water solution before cooking them sounds surprising, but it adds a lot of flavor. You may also wonder if it’s really necessary to remove the fries from the fryer when they’re half-done, but this is also necessary if you want to replicate the original taste and texture.

Big Mac Hack

Now McDonald’s has jumped on the meatless bandwagon by adding the P.L.T. to its menu — short for Plant. Lettuce. Tomato. Like KFC, McD will use Beyond Meat.

The new burger will be piloted in 28 Canadian branches for 6 weeks starting at the end of September.

The famous fast food chain is testing vegan McNuggets, which are currently available only in Norway. If they end up being popular enough, they may spread to McDonald’s restaurants around the world.

The vegan McNuggets look exactly like the existing McNuggets made with chicken meat. They’re made of plant-based ingredients, including mashed potatoes, chickpeas, onions, carrots, and corn. They’re rolled in breadcrumbs and fried so they are golden and crispy.
