People who eat vegan food have never relied on McDonald’s to save them from experimenting on a trip to an unknown country with exotic food, but this may soon change.
The famous fast food chain is testing vegan McNuggets, which are currently available only in Norway. If they end up being popular enough, they may spread to McDonald’s restaurants around the world.
The vegan McNuggets look exactly like the existing McNuggets made with chicken meat. They’re made of plant-based ingredients, including mashed potatoes, chickpeas, onions, carrots, and corn. They’re rolled in breadcrumbs and fried so they are golden and crispy.
