2023 is less than a month away, and it’s bringing many amazing food trends our way. Yelp recently shared its own list of trend predictions for next year, and several pretty interesting drinks made the cut—starting with these five.
Mocktails
If you’re not a huge fan of alcohol, but don’t feel like you’re missing out on anything on a night out, you’ll be happy to hear that mocktails aka non-alcoholic cocktails are stronger than ever.
Michelagua
Speaking of popular non-alcoholic drinks that we’ll be seeing everywhere next year, Michelagua also made it to Yelp’s list. It’s an alcohol-free take on a popular Mexican cocktail Michelada.
Hojicha Tea
Hojicha tea is another international tea experiencing a huge rise right now. It’s a type of Japanese green tea (like matcha), but with a much sweeter flavor profile.
Slushies
Yelp is predicting a comeback of several beloved nostalgic food and drinks in 2023, including slushies so feel free to order one the next time you go to your favorite bar.
Dirty Sodas
Dirty sodas experienced a huge rise in popularity this past year, and they’re not going anywhere. They originally hail from Utah, but you can easily make your own by mixing up soda, cream, flavored syrup, or some other sweetener.
