We’ve seen many celebrities launch their own beverage brands in recent years, but none created more buzz than Bero. It’s a new non-alcoholic beer brand launched by the Spider-Man star Tom Holland, inspired by his own sobriety journey.
Holland decided to give up drinking after taking part in the “Dry January” challenge in 2022. He realized how much better and healthier he felt while sober, and Bero was born out of his desire to make a space for himself on the non-alcoholic beer scene where he felt at home.
“For me, Bero is personal. After two years on my sobriety journey, I wanted to create something that reflected my lifestyle and values. This beer isn’t just for those on a similar path, but for everyone who appreciates quality, craftsmanship, and living life to the fullest,” he said in a statement.
Holland brought an impressive team on board, including the brewmaster Grant Wood. After working at some of the world’s most prestigious breweries for the past four decades, Wood was the perfect person for the job and he helped Holland and his time refine the formula for this non-alcoholic beverage.
Bero’s first drop includes three drinks, available for purchase on the brand’s official website. Kingston Golden Pils, named after Holland’s hometown, Edge Hill Hazy IPA, named after his primary school, and Noon Wheat, a nod to the actor’s beloved schnauzer.
