Delicious Dip-stuffed French bread Recipe

Ingredients

  • 10 oz. frozen chopped spinach, thawed and thoroughly drained/patted dry
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1/2 onion, diced
  • 1/2 red bell pepper, diced
  • 2 garlic cloves, finely chopped
  • 2 tablespoons  pesto, store-bought
  • 1/2 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/4 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup  fresh, grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 cup  grated strong cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated mozzarella cheese

Method:

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
  2. Cut 2 inches deep into the loaf, cutting out a large rectangle. Remove the top and hollow out to create a 2-inch deep ‘bowl’.
  3. Heat oil over medium-high heat. Saute onions until soft. Add red bell pepper and garlic, and cook for 1 minute.
  4. Stir in all the other ingredients except Mozzarella until well combined, and spoon into bread. Top with Mozzarella and bake for 25 to 30 minutes, until the cheese is melted and golden.
  5. Allow to cool for 5 minutes, then slice and serve warm.
