The first thing you need to do before you start making the pesto is to toast the garlic. All you need is a skillet and the garlic cloves. Make sure to toast them with the skin on. Leave the garlic to cook on medium heat for 5 minutes, then place it in a bowl.
Prepare the walnuts
You should do the same with the walnuts as well. Place them in the skillet and cook them for 5 to 10 minutes.
To prepare this fast pesto, you will need a blender. Put the basil, olive oil, walnuts, Parmesan cheese, garlic in the blender. Pulse until you get a smooth mixture.
When you’re done, you can add pepper and salt according to taste. Your pesto dressing is all done. Use it with salads, bruschetta, pasta dishes and more.
