Homemade Whipped Cream is So Much Better than Store-Bought

Have you ever tried whipped cream that wasn’t from a store-bought container? If you have, you probably know that the homemade version is so much richer and more delicious than the commercial version. It’s definitely worth the effort to make your own instead of relying on pre-made products.

Fortunately, it really isn’t difficult to make your own homemade whipped cream. In fact, it’s possible with only three ingredients! Here’s how you can do it.

Ingredients

  • 8 ounces heavy cream
  • 3 tablespoons powdered sugar
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract

Start off by placing a large bowl along with a whisk inside of your freezer for thirty minutes. This will allow them to cool down, as the environment for making whipped cream must be cold.

Next, pour the heavy cream, the powdered sugar, and the vanilla extract into the cold bowl. Now, the hard work begins! Whisk the three ingredients together vigorously until a creamy, fluffy substance forms. It shouldn´t be a liquid, as the cold bowl will help the substance turn into a light cream substance.

Now, your whipped cream is finished! Place it covered in the refrigerator and use it within about two days. Enjoy!
