We have tried a few recipes for banana bread over the years and this is probably the very best! It is easy to make and it is a great dessert, very light and delicious when having people over for coffee.
* 1/2 cup butter
* 1 cup sugar
* 2 eggs, beaten
* 3 or 4 bananes, finely crushed
* 1 1/2 cups flour
* 1 tsp baking soda
* 1/2 tsp salt
* 1/2 tsp vanilla abstract
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees
2. Mix together butter and sugar
3. Add eggs and crushed bananas and combine well
4. In another bowl, mix the flour, baking soda, and salt
5. Add to the creamy mixture and add vanilla
6. Grease your pan with coconut oil and pour the mixture into it
7. Bake at 350 degrees for 50 minutes
You can also add some chocolate chips or walnuts.
This banana bread is good for a few days and you can even refrigerate it, which we don’t think would be necessary, as it is usually eaten very fast.

Some say that being emotionally connected to food is funny or even weird. But how can you not be emotionally connected when food is always present. 🤔 In good and bad times . I wonder if we don’t like specific foods because they subconsciously bring up bad memories. Like with color? You know when you just cannot stand some colors and you really don’t know why – some researchers say it’s because when something bad happened (a loved one passed away for example) that color was very much present in that moment and you somehow can’t stand it anymore, because it brings up bad memories. – but that’s for another topic. I wonder if that is the deal with food too . Anyway. Banana bread represent home to me. 🤗 My mom makes the best one in my opinion and Jernej took it to another level with that cream cheese and white chocolate frosting. 👌🏻 Absolute love.
