Taco Bell scored some big points with its customers earlier this year after announcing the return of Mexican Pizza to its menu. The iconic menu item not only sparked a big frenzy among foodies but apparently also inspired them to think of some intriguing hacks.

Mexican pizza has beef and refried beans sandwiched between two fried tortillas and topped with sauce, three kinds of cheese, and diced tomatoes. This combination of ingredients seems close to perfect, but one Reddit user figured out how to make it even better.

In a recent post on Taco Bell’s subreddit, @asim2292 demonstrated a Mexican Pizza Nacho hack they worked out using the fast-food chain’s option for order customization. The user started with Nachos BellGrande and then got rid of the sour cream and seasoned beef. Instead, they introduced red sauce and Mexican Pizza’s original sauce and three kinds of cheese.

Other users were intrigued with the hack, although one of them questioned why someone couldn’t just crush the Mexican Pizza and make it look like nachos. According to @asim2292, you get “more crunch” with the nacho hack, while you can also turn it into a budget version by using the triple-layer nachos.

We don’t know about you, but we are definitely trying this hack next time we are at Taco Bell. After getting the standard Mexican Pizza, of course.
