When’s the perfect time for brownies? It is always the perfect time!
The Ingredients
The Brownies:
- ½ Cup Unsalted Butter, softened at room temperature
- 10 Oz chocolate chips
- ¾ Cup Granulated Sugar
- ¼ Teaspoon Salt
- 2 Eggs
- 1 Cup
All Purpose Flour - 2 ½ Tablespoon Cocoa Powder
- ½ Teaspoon Instant Espresso Powder
The Glaze:
- 2 Tablespoon Milk
- 2 Tablespoon Cocoa Powder
- 1 Cup Confectioner Sugar
- 1 Tablespoon Unsalted Butter, softened at room temperature
- Pinch Of Salt
The Process
The Brownies:
Preheat the oven at 350 degrees. Put a backing paper onto an 8×8” square baking pan, make sure it comes up the sides a bit. Then in a large pan add the butter and the chocolate chips and melt them over medium-low heat. Don’t forget to stir! The chocolate burns easily. In a large bowl combine the sugar, eggs, flour, cocoa powder, espresso powder and the melted chocolate. Give it a good mix. Then, pour the batter into the pan and bake it for 40-45 minutes, or until they are fully cooked. Leave them to cool down before your glaze them.
The Glaze:
In a bowl mix the sugar, cocoa powder and salt. Then gradually add the milk, while mixing the whole time, until the glaze reaches the thickness you like. When ready, spread the glaze evenly over the top and put it into the fridge for about 25-30 minutes, so that the glaze could set.
