These Still Life Photos Show Fruits and Vegetables Wrapped in Plastic Packaging

A group of artists that work as an architectural studio QUATRE CAPS have decided to take a break from their regular work and do an artistic series of still life renderings that show fruits and vegetables wrapped in plastic, titled Not Longer Life.

They made a contemporary version of famous still life paintings by artists like Claude Monet and Juan Sánchez Cotán, but made the food appear wrapped in plastic to raise the awareness of unnecessary plastic use.

“Thousands of products are being commercialized, doubling and tripling a synthetic skin or even worse, taking the place of their natural wrapping skin with a plastic package in order to ‘ease’ their consumption,” they told This is Colossal.
