These Still Life Photos Show Fruits and Vegetables Wrapped in Plastic Packaging

A group of artists that work as an architectural studio QUATRE CAPS have decided to take a break from their regular work and do an artistic series of still life renderings that show fruits and vegetables wrapped in plastic, titled Not Longer Life.

They made a contemporary version of famous still life paintings by artists like Claude Monet and Juan Sánchez Cotán, but made the food appear wrapped in plastic to raise the awareness of unnecessary plastic use.

Most of them will take approximately 600 years to biodegrade. We are not aware of the energetic consumption and the environmental impact that means using an absurd plastic wrapping.
