Ingredients

  • 2 cans (10 oz) of canned, cooked chicken
  • 12 oz ranch dressing
  • 3/4 to 1 cup hot sauce, to taste
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 16 oz softened cream cheese

Add the canned chicken to a crockpot. Shred the chicken with a fork.

Add the ranch dressing and hot sauce into the crockpot, covering the shredded chicken. Stir and combine.

Turn on the crockpot onto the medium heat setting, warming up the contents of the pot.

Once the mixture is warm, gradually add the shredded cheese, mixing and stirring to help melt the cheese as you go.

Finally, follow the same process with the softened cream cheese. Be sure to stir this ingredient well into the mixture so that the cream cheese doesn’t become “clumpy” in the dip.

Cook covered on medium heat for 2-3 hours. Stir occasionally.

This dip can be eaten with a variety of snacks, including tortilla chips, celery, and bread. It’s perfect as a dish to take to any party. Enjoy!
