The votes are in and the best M&M flavour has been announced!
In the beginning of the year, the confectionary company decided to release three new flavours inspired by international tastes.
They included Mexican Jalapeño Peanut, which was described as having “just the right amount of spice and chocolate,” the tropical Thai Coconut Peanut that was “a savoury, sweet taste inspired by the tropics of Thailand,” and English Toffee Peanut, which apparently “tastes as elegant as a trip to Great Britain itself.”
Chocolate lovers were invited to indulge in the sweets and then vote for which flavour they felt was the best — and should thus be made a part of the M&M family that already includes peanut butter, mint, caramel, and pretzel, amongst many other varieties.
Put it down to an obsession with the royal family perhaps, but English Toffee has now been crowned as the champion!
“We love inviting our fans to partake in the flavour innovation process and influence the M&M’s products they see on shelves,” said M&M’s Brand Director Allison Miazga-Bedrick. “We were thrilled to see so many of our passionate fans engage in the campaign and cast their votes, with English Toffee Peanut as the overwhelming fan-favorite!”
English Toffee M&Ms will now be available for you to munch for the next 18 months!
