If Dry January isn’t your cup of tea and you don’t like not being able to have a drink during the whole month, perhaps you can give another thing a try. Veganuary is a great way to kick start the new year and do something good for your body. We’re already used to coming up with resolutions and trying new things in January, so this year, you can try going vegan for the month.
Veganuary was first launched in 2014, and according to the program’s U.S. director Wendy Matthews, 2019 was its most successful year “with more than a quarter of a million people [taking] our pledge to try a vegan diet,” as she told The Washington Post.
Veganuary can be a great way to detox your body if you’re an avid meat-eater. You can use it as a chance to see if vegan food works for you and your body and, who knows, perhaps you’ll stick to a vegan diet beyond the month of January!
