Aren’t things just cuter when they’re little? Puppies, babies, and now, even your favorite cereals. The people behind breakfast staples like Reese’s Puffs, Trix, and Cinnamon Toast Crunch are bringing out mini versions to get your day off to a more adorable start.
Inspired by the love of all things tiny, General Mills says the cereals will come in smaller shapes but will in no way compromise on their big flavor.
“Sometimes the best new innovation is the smallest one,” said Mindy Murray, who serves as the Senior. Marketing Communications Manager at General Mills. “There’s such a love right now for full-size things that have been shrunk into mini versions, and we realized we could do the same with our cereals. We can’t wait for families to try the cutest new way to experience their favorites one BIG (little) bite at a time.”
Expect the Trix Minis to be little balls of fruitiness, and the mini Reese’s Puffs to be in the shape of tiny balls, too. Even Cinnamon Toast Crunch, which is typically square, will be round when in mini mode.
Although they may be small, the cereals will be available in full-size boxes from January.
