Arancini Rice Balls Are The Best Italian Appetizer

If Italian cuisine is your favorite, you have to try arancini rice balls. The total cooking time for this recipe is 20 minutes and is meant for 8 servings.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups oil
  • 3 cups cooked minute rice
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 cup parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 teaspoon oregano
  • 1 cup mozzarella
  • marinara sauce
  • 3/4 cup breadcrumbs, 1/4 cup for the rice mixture and 1/2 cup to bread the rice balls
  • 3 eggs, 1 for the rice mixture and 2 beaten for coating the rice balls
  • dash pepper

Instructions

Make the minute rice by following the instructions on the packaging.

Let it cool down, then combine it with 1/8 teaspoon salt, 1 egg, a dash of pepper, 1/4 cup breadcrumbs, 1/4 cup parmesan cheese, 1/2 teaspoon oregano, 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese.

Mix all the ingredients very well together.

When the mixture is done, divide it into pieces and create small balls.

Get a bowl and beat the 2 remaining eggs in it. First, dip the balls in the egg, then in the breadcrumbs.

Start frying the arancini rice balls in hot oil that completely covers them. They should get a light brown color.

When the balls are done, place them on a plate with paper. Add some salt on top and serve them with marinara sauce on the side.
