When it comes to cookies, chocolate chip is a classic. We’re not sure who first came up with including bits of chocolate in vanilla cookies, but they were a genius and Chips Ahoy! has made a whole business from it. The cookie company has been around since 1963, and as we come up on its 60th birthday, a new kinda cookie is joining the fray.
Chips Ahoy! has announced that Chewy Confetti Cake Cookies will be available from early next year.
“We all know that Chips Ahoy! is here for the happy. Now, for its 60th birthday, it’s here for the party,” explained Natalie Gadbois, the company’s senior brand manager. “Our chewy cookies introduce new tastes, flavors, and sensory experiences that we know Gen-Z looks for while still keeping the same, familiar Chips Ahoy! cookie quality fans of all ages have come to know and love.”
The new cookies will be chewy as the name suggests, and feature milk and white chocolate chips, as well as rainbow sprinkles mixed in.
“Chewy Confetti Cake Flavored Cookies taste great on their own or can be paired with ice cream for one deliciously happy treat!” Chips Ahoy! suggests.
Sounds like 2023 is already getting off to a fun start!
