Ben & Jerry’s is no stranger to creating flavors for famous people, and Ava DuVernay is now the latest to join the pint brigade.

To date, Jimmy Fallon, Stephen Colbert, Colin Kaepernick, and Chance the Rapper have all had flavors made in their honor, with proceeds going to charitable causes. DuVernay’s ice cream will be no different. Part of the profits of every pint (try saying that three times fast…) will go to the A Wrinkle in Time director’s non-profit organization, ARRAY Alliance, which produces and distributes film work made by women and people of color.

“Ice cream is a simple joy of life. A comfort food that I’ve turned to on many days,” DuVernay said. “Partnering with Ben & Jerry’s, a company that I’ve long admired for their commitment to social justice, has been a thrill ride. I had the opportunity to work with food scientists to create a flavor with all the ingredients that I personally love for a cause close to my heart.”

The filmmaker helped to create the flavor which has been named Lights! Caramel! Action! With a vanilla base, salted caramel swirls, graham cracker swirls, and bits of chocolate chip cookie dough, it will be available in both a dairy and non-dairy version.
