Chrissy Teigen just got a new gig! The successful model and cookbook author will produce a documentary about French fries called Fries! The Movie, in which we will get answers to eternal questions like why do virtually all the people in the world love French fries. The details about the film are still unknown and we hope to learn more about it in the near future. We don’t even have a premiere date right now, but we do know some things.
Among the people who will appear in the film are Teigen herself, best-selling author Malcolm Gladwell, chef Eric Ripert, and Museum of Food and Drink founder and president Dave Arnold. The documentary will follow chefs, farmers, scientists, and celebrities who will slowly unveil the story behind famous French fries.
“I always knew my love of fries and years of experience in the field were meant to serve a higher purpose. Thrilled to work alongside this incredible team and share our findings,” Teigen said in a statement, as Variety reports.
