Ham and Scalloped Potatoes for a tasty Easter

Easter is around the corner, and when we think about Easter, we think about the main dish on that specific holiday: Ham. Eating ham on its own is quite boring and this is why we are making this delicious Four-Cheese Scalloped Potatoes as a side dish, that goes perfectly with ham.

The recipe below has all the necessary ingredients to make this amazing dish, right before the holiday.

Serves 6-8.

Ingredients:

Instructions:
1. Preheat oven to 425 degrees F.
2. Brush a large skillet with butter, then rub with the garlic.
3. In a separate bowl, combine the mozzarella, asiago and raclette.
4. Heat the skillet over medium-high heat.
5. Add half of the potatoes, spreading them out.
6. Sprinkle with 3/4 teaspoon salt, half of the cut-up butter, half of the shredded cheese blend, and pepper to taste.
7. Arrange the remaining potatoes on top.
8. Sprinkle with 3/4 teaspoon salt, and pepper to taste.
9. Pour the cream over the potatoes, then add the nutmeg and bay leaves; simmer 3 minutes. Cover the potatoes with the remaining cut-up butter.
10. Generously brush a shallow baking dish with butter; slide the potatoes into the dish.
11. Sprinkle the potatoes with the parmesan and the remaining shredded cheese blend.
12. Bake until golden, about 25 minutes. Let rest 5 minutes before serving. Discard the bay leaves and serve.
