There is nothing as delicious as a homemade jam! It sounds like the perfect thing to start the day with. This basic blueberry vanilla jam recipe is done in no time.

Ingredients

To prepare the blueberry vanilla jam you need:
1/2 vanilla bean pod
1 1/4 pounds fresh or frozen blueberries
1 teaspoon calcium water
3/4 cup granulated sugar
2 tablespoons lemon juice
1 teaspoon pectin

Instructions

Before you start, scrape the seeds of the vanilla bean pod and remove the stems of the blueberries.

Combine the pectin and sugar together and mix them very well.

The next step is to cook the blueberries in a pan. Mash them in the pan and include the vanilla bean pod and seeds, lemon juice, and calcium water. Wait for the ingredients to boil while also mixing them.

Stir in the pectin and sugar inside the pan with the rest of the ingredients. Mix all the time until everything is combined together.

Wait for a few minutes so that the blueberry vanilla jam starts to boil. Take it off the stove and place it on the side. Take out the vanilla pod.

Prepare the jars and you can pour the jam once it’s a bit cooler.

You can serve it right away.
