Why do we feel Guilty about Some Things we Enjoy Eating?

There is an increasingly long list of foods that people feel bad about eating. Why do we feel so guilty, or think we should feel guilty, about the fact we eat food that we actually enjoy?

When we categorize food as good or bad, we actually categorize ourselves as good or bad, or even strong or weak, or maybe healthy and unhealthy.

However, as long as you feed your body what it wants instead of restricting yourself it is really good for you. It will most likely result in lower rates of disordered eating, depression and other mental health issues.
