Firecracker Chicken Recipe That Will Elevate Your Lunch

If you are tired of eating your chicken the same way all the time, you can really upgrade the taste with this firecracker chicken recipe. It takes less than an hour to be done.

Ingredients:

If you want to make the firecracker chicken, make sure that you have 2 beaten eggs, 1 1/4 pounds boneless skinless chicken breasts, 1/3 cup buffalo hot sauce, tablespoon rice vinegar, 1/3 cup cornstarch, 1/2 cup brown sugar, 3 tablespoons vegetable oil, 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes, 1/4 cup sliced green onions, salt, and pepper. Before you start cooking, cut the chicken breasts into small pieces of 1 inch.

Instructions:

Start by setting the oven on 350 F degrees and preparing a cooking pan. Add some salt and pepper to the chicken pieces and toss the cornstarch on top as well. Start coating each piece with the beaten eggs. You can now heat a pan with oil and cook the meat until it’s ready.

Use a bowl to mix the brown sugar, buffalo sauce, rice vinegar and red pepper flakes together. This is the sauce you need for your firecracker chicken. Once the meat is done you can cover it with the sauce and bake it for 35 minutes. Serve it with rice and add the green onions on top.
